About Us: Patricia Frame Bio

Patricia Frame is an experienced human resources consultant and executive. She has managed: development of HR and administrative functions, organization development, employment, process restructuring for productivity, compensation, training, and the human resources aspects of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. She has also consulted in human capital issues for technology-based organizations, associations, NGOs, and service businesses. She has advised senior management and boards of directors on a wide range of human capital and strategic planning issues.

Patricia is known for her ability to address organizational goals and issues effectively and to create human resource management practices which support these goals.

Ms. Frame founded Strategies for Human Resources in 1993 as a consulting firm specializing in meeting the human resources strategy and management needs of small to mid-size organizations.

This interest grew out of her experiences directing human resources and organizational capacity development at several rapidly growing mid-size organizations. She was Director of Human Resources for Best!, a private PC business applications software company during a period of significant acquisition activities. She established the human resources function for Maxwell Online, Inc., a private international software and online services firm created from four companies. At Software AG of North America, Inc., she created a proactive human resources function for this public, high-growth, systems software company.

At General Electric, Patricia held strategic HR planning and employee relations management positions. She was a Consultant in the organization development and compensation practices with management consultants A. T. Kearney, Inc. She began her career as a Personnel Officer in the United States Air Force and served in the US, Germany, and Asia.

Patricia has been a seminar leader and guest speaker for a wide range of organizations including the Society for Scholarly Publishing, Special Libraries Association, Information Services Human Resources Association, and Nonprofit Human Resource Conference as well as local professional and community groups. She holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from Purdue University. Her extensive professional education includes university seminars such as University of Michigan's Organization Development and Babson College's Executive Seminar in Managing Rapid Change, as well as on-going professional associations' activities.
